Went to my first funeral sponsored by the corporation since my resignation.

Felt no comfort from all the gospel lessons disguised as talks about the deceased. Absolutely nothing from the prayers and songs.

I DID enjoy all the stories about my deceased relative. Felt warmed by the expressions of love and gratitude for the time we had with them.

Overall I’m so glad I don’t have the wool pulled over my eyes anymore and I don’t have to turn to the false comfort paraded as truth. I hope the lies keep being exposed and the whole sham is dismantled brick by brick.
