One thing that kinda bothered me since I left was wondering how/why I felt that I got answers to prayers as a member.

Check out the Silva method. It teaches many methods but he specifically mentions that looking down in prayer, especially with lifting your eyes slightly up with your eyelids closed, helps shift your brain into a different brainwave pattern that makes you more likely to connect to your intuition.

Longer prayers = increased likelihood of getting an answer

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

It’s not Mormon god answering your prayers. It’s science.

If that has been bothering you, please don’t let it bother you.

It is not a legitimate reason to stay in the church.
