So discovered in therapy today that being taught I agreed to my life beforehand was a major contributor to my unhealthy people pleasing. Thanks for that Mom. So my question is if you guys had similar experiences of being told that this life is by their own request.

My mom told me at a young age that her patriarchal blessing said that several men asked her to be their mother. Flash forward like 30 years to me (her sixth son) getting my own, and I'm told that I was assigned this life against my will. Really messed me up
