A decade ago, back on my mission thought I was very good at defending the church and I could leave people stumped or confounded as Tbm's like to call it.
The other day my wife and I were listening to one of those YouTube Reddit were customer service staff have to deal with idiots and how pointless it is to argue with them.
Well this made me think. How often when I thought I had won an argument, was in reality they stopped arguing because I was the idiot who couldn't understand.
