Hey all. First time posting here. I have been inactive in the church since 2013 after I graduated from BYU, but Iโve been wanting to go through the process of officially leaving/removing my records. I know there are sites available to help like quitmormon, but I donโt personally know anyone that has gone through this process, at least not anyone I feel like I could reach out to.
My main concern is regarding my education/degree. I have no interest in remaining a member of the church, but I am ignorant with regards to any action the church could take against my degree from BYU as a result of me removing my records. It may be a stupid question or fear, but given all the other awful things the church puts people through, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this kind of situation.
Please feel free to pm me if you would prefer to chat in private. Any and all advice and information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
