Did you have a purity ring or a CTR ring?

I haven't posted here in a hot minute, I'm the author that's been digging into the cult for a book I'm writing.
I recently read Mormonville by Jeff Call (trash, 0/5 stars do not read). It mentioned a CTR ring as a pretty key mcguffin for the shitty main character, but I've NEVER seen that mentioned anywhere else I've dug around for my research. It seems like those rings are sold by LDS stores and also Etsy shops?
What was your experience with them, if you had one?
