The Mormon church has a policy that it's members be honest and truthful in all dealings.

Valuing honesty and lying to people is a contradiction and cognitive dissonance.

The facts are that Native Americans came from Asia not Jerusalem. There is zero evidence of middle eastern influence in the Americas before the 1400's.

The nativity story falls apart as king Herod was dead before Jesus's birth. Rome did not tax the region. The tax that caused Mary and Joseph to travel never happened.

The crucifixion darkness is an event described in the synoptic gospels in which the sky becomes dark in daytime during the crucifixion of Jesus for roughly three hours. This was never recorded by anyone anywhere at the time. The lunar cycle did not have an eclipse at the time.

Even the Smithsonian has debunked parts of the book of Mormon and Bible.

So, now you know the facts if you are a TBM and you say you know the scriptures are true...

You are lying. You are sinning by bearing false witness.
