This happened just an hour ago.

For context, I stopped going to the meetings since August and ever since he has invited me to the meetings every week. He invited me once again today and I declined once again. He did it while he was serving dinner. As I was eating, he starts talking about how life is hard and all that shit (his lectures are always desultory). He then remembered that today there is no meeting in the congregation they go to. So he invited me to next week's meeting. I shook my head. Then he says "We can't keep doing things like this. You don't have any biblical basis for not wanting to go or what you have against Jehovah. I don't want to have to take the wifi router every time when you can just come with me and you can come back home and I'll let you use the internet until 11:30 (Meetings on Tuesdays are at 7:30 and end at around 9:15). All I want is for you to come with me like we always did as a family." I told him that I'm tired of saying that I won't go because the meetings are a waste of time. They don't know my stance about the beliefs of the cult, I plan on telling them at the right time. Then my mom walks in and he asks her if there are benefits to coming to the meeting. She says "Yes. People of this world are always seeking to destroy you no matter how good a person you try to be." Bitch what does that have to do with the conversation??? She's always ranting about the "people of this world" I keep declining and my dad gets heated and starts to berate me... WHILE I AM EATING DINNER. I call him out for it but he continues even when Mom tells him to "stop giving him the attention he wants."

So as a reward for ruining my dinner I left the plate on the table for them to wash.
