I’m a young PIMO who has never dated and I’m just curious to know how your JW dating experiences went (or are going at the moment). This post is not meant to be so serious so feel free to joke around respectfully.

Maybe you’re someone who waited till maturity to finally date. Maybe you married that person and you woke up with him/her. Maybe you’re LGBTQ and couldn’t act on your intentions. Maybe you dated someone secretly 😮. Maybe you dated very young.

I’ll begin with my experience LOL. Well, the gist of my experience is... I didn’t have any. I developed some crushes but I always held myself back due to being PIMI and thinking about “not dating till past the bloom of youth”. Last girl I had a crush on is also my neighbor and I was head over heels for her. I was 18 at that time and she was 17 and as I just mentioned I didn’t act on it. I never got to confess what I felt for her. Fast forward a few years and she’s still very PIMI.

Recently a 19-year-old PIMI friend asked me “why didn’t you tell her what you felt for her”

Me: “because I wanted to wait till maturity”

Him: “you shouldn’t have been a coward”

Me: “what was I supposed to do if she had said yes? Date her?”

Him: silent

Me: “you see. There’s nothing I could’ve done”

And then some weeks later I find out he was dating a worldly girl. When I asked him why he did it he just told me he wanted to “experience what a relationship feels like for the first time” 🤦‍♂️
