TALKING ABOUT THE HOPE FOR EVERLASTING LIFE IN PARADISE
Post Body

Did anyone else not find the hope of everlasting life in paradise attractive at all...it just seemed like a place where everything fun about being alive(which is termed 'wordly') had been stripped away so what is left? And we are meant to live forever and ever in that boring hell hole? Doing what exactly? Cultivating food and building houses? Singing praises to God?

Everytime we were at the meeting and they spoke about the 'wonderful' hope we were looking forward to and they proceed to describe what paradise might be like I always thought to myself "I really dont think I want to live forever there" and I immediately felt a pang of guilt

But then oh well...the only other alternative was being destroyed along with the wicked people in armageddon so it's not like we had much of a choice....but damn paradise sounds boring as f

I mean if the current world with all the high tech and a million fun things could just be fixed up abit yunno? Like fix the climate issues, problems with earth itself and take out our tendency to age/get sick/die it sounds way better and even much easier than a full on war and wiping out everything leaving us in a garbage dump to start from scratch...just my opinion...the former just seems way more dramatic than the latter
