The memorial campaign is ridiculously ineffective and wasteful

Today's wt study really made that clear. 440 million invitations were printed last year. Around 20 million attended. Around 8 million witnesses, probably 7-8 million studies. That means at max 4 million who actually needed a printed invitation attended.
And that's not even taking into account inactive publishers and unbelieving relatives. Figure another 1-2 million there. That's conservatively 437 million wasted pieces of paper. Sad.
