Been disfellowshipped for 8 months, a week ago I decided to go full POMO and give up after a horrible reinstatement commetie. Tons of people blocked or unfollowed me when I was DF but family didn't.

I posted a group photo this week after a fun night at a bar. I did speed dating and hung out with the organizers and some other people. We played a team game of darts and after we took a nice group photo.

I saw my cousins name pop up as she liked my post. I checked the likes and her name was gone. I couldn't find her profile and our DM convo says Instagram user. She blocked me for getting new friends when my whole JW life was cut off.

Her and I grew up together, basically my sister, I was in her wedding. Her own sister wasn't because she didn't want to get baptized at the time, another story lol.

It's clearly a cult when family has to be passive aggressive when you find joy outside the religion
