What if I simply deny it?

Allow me to provide some context. Back in 2019 I had premarital sex with my now ex several times. We broke up a few years later and they stopped going to the meetings shortly after. I'm PIMO, but scared to death that they may simply come back at some point and confess it all.

As I understand it, the rules now are such that one MUST ALWAYS have 2 witnesses to corroborate any such accusation, even if said accusation involves oneself. Is my understanding lacking or could I simply deny it? I don't mind being "frowned upon" I'd just like to avoid being removed.
