Reducing guilt from sleeping in
Post Body

Something outsiders will never understand. If you had a long week at work or school and just want to catch up on sleep it should just be that.

But growing up a JW that's not the case. If you skipped Saturday service it was nice but came with so much guilt.

A year ago it really took it's toll on me when I was a servant. I was expected to be out and visible. But I work full time, own a house and also needed my car inspected per state rules. I was almost a year over due on vehicle inspection because of guilt.

I'm DF now so Saturdays are actually peaceful. It's crazy how many years I've had to feel this guilt driven "volunteer" work.
