Browsing files on my pc I found the most cringe and awfully PIMI letter I wrote that sounds so iditotic but clues into how JW's think.

This was written during a massive letter campaign from JW's to the Russian Federation in 2017

Without futher explanation here is this cringe letter...

My name is ______ and I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. You probably know very well that Russia's Ministry of Justice filed a claim to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to label Jehovah's Witnesses as “extremists” and to liquidate all worship and activities. As Jehovah's Witnesses we respect all government officials and laws, with that said here are some things to consider.

Extremist by definition is someone who holds extreme views, and in this case religious views that resorts to or advocates extreme action. The characteristics of Jehovah's Witnesses are as far from this definition as you can get. We do stand out from other people you may encounter, this is because we apply Bible principles in our life. These principles are as simple as loving your neighbor as yourself being peaceable with others, valuing marriages and so on.

Our preaching work is a large portion of our worship and we do not force anything upon anyone. Simply we share what we can look forward to and appreciate what God has given us. Imagine someone told you some wonderful news that you are passionate about. Now having this news would you just keep it to yourself, or would you rather tell the first person you see or someone interested. Likely you will want to share this information with someone so they can appreciate it and feel just as happy as you were when learning such news. This example is how we feel, as congregations we meet to study the Bible, apply it in our life and tell others. If the claim goes through it places a ban on such activities.
