My dad is PIMI but he is much more human than my mom. You can tell he has a heart and thereās even been things that have happened to him as an elder that I know troubled his conscience and triggered cognitive dissonance. He is a very smart and logical man, and a mathematician. I think a good way to describe the situation is my mom is running on the treadmill and dragging my dad along with her lol.
I have been PIMO for quite some time, (i donāt live with them) and I want to sincerely approach my dad and talk to him about my concerns before I quit for good.
What is a good way to approach the subject with him that I no longer believe this is the true religion? What are some topics to talk about? I donāt want any comments of like ādont do it, itās not worth itā etc. My dad has been a good man and father figure to me all my life, and this is probably the last time iāll get to talk to him or reach his heart.
