So im wondering if anyone has experience this.

I wrote my letter to be disassociated about 3 months ago. I also explained if they do announce me send me a text or voicemail letting me know if I was to be announced and the date.

Yesterday my best friend( who is currently fading away as a jw and hasn’t been to meeting in months) send me a screenshot of a sister who texted her. The messages said basically

“have you seen the new Sophia and Caleb video on true friendship? It’s a good time to watch it since your bestie (me) has been disfellowshipped again. Stay away. “

To my surprise she said I’ve been disfellowshipped. I was not aware I was disfellowshipped 😂. I do some digging and I found out they announced me at another congregation as no longer one of Jehovahs witnesses.

I was not contacted or even a text message about them making the announcement. 📢 Has anyone else gone through that? Them announcing with no warning or even a follow up . I never even officially meet with the elders about it . I wanted to know when I was announced so I could record it 🥲 bummer .
