We already know the JWs are anti-University and barely pro-trade school but the notion of "living in the last days" is training Black Americans the people who need to embrace entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency the most to put the former on the back burner.

As a Black Millenial who grew up lower middle class, I refuse to settle for a life of coasting from pay check to paycheck all in the name of "putting kingdom interests first". I have family that aren't even interested in hearing about my entrepreneurial pursuits because "the things of the world will pass away".

Larry don't you need money to pay for food on the table? To keep the lights on? To donate to Watchtower?!

How is it me creating financial/entrepreneurial goals for the next 10 years is pursuing things of world but the GB is planning KH renovations and expansions for the next (Last days contingent) 10 years!? Of course they have a financial future plan! Why can't I?!

We have rendered ourselves completely devoid of individual thought or reasoning.
