I’ve been out since the early 2000s. Faded after the generation change of the late 90s, divorced my hopelessly PIMI wife, moved across the country and started a new life.

I was a third generation born in and became convinced after the generation change that it was obviously a cult and couldn’t support these NYC conmen.

Didn’t really need much apostate info. The generation triggered it all but then I did research 607, the UN and it was impossible not to see it for what it was.

Got remarried and pretty much didn’t pay attention to the cult for a decade and a half. Since I was never DFed I was able to keep a bare minimum relationship with my parents and they would try to talk to me about it. But I found that requiring “equal time” for opposing views usually shut that down.

But then, during covid, my mother became terminally Ill. I went and spent time with them as a final goodbye for a few days and was exposed to this version of “the truth.” It was shocking! A ROKU channel? Are you kidding me? Cartoons? Pop music 😂? I couldn’t believe. They became televangelists!

So over the past couple of years, after not paying much attention to them, I can’t get enough. Watching this shot show go through this is VERY entertaining! This is NOT the same religion. To anyone questioning this mess get out now and make some popcorn 🍿. The collapse that is coming is going to be one for the ages. The soul of this thing from 70s and 80s is long gone. The GB. Knows it and they’re painted into a corner from which there’s no escaping.

I haven’t encountered any real live JWs over this time. What I’m wondering now is what will happen if I were to see some cart witnessing or at my door? I wouldn’t reveal my history but could easily walk them through their 1914 history (all of it) and their flip flops on blood (fractions, components), the king of the north, the difference between a prophecy and parable and any number of “deeper things.” I’m an 80s kid. We were proclaiming that “this generation shall by no means pass away”. We were bold, and sure. Until we weren’t.

But what do they do now? My understanding is they don’t engage and just point to their website. What’s the point lol.

Just unbelievable to me. I remember witnesses just aching for a debate. Not anymore I take it?
