Hi everyone !

What are some of hobbies you picked up after leaving the jw life ?

I catch myself working all the time. I don’t have any friends , no close family. My parents are still in the cult. Due to some finances, I had to move back in with them to save up some money. Not ideal situation. (I was never baptize but I was raised as a jw all my life) that’s why they are able to still talk to me.

I avoid being at the house when my parents are home. Usually I’ll just hang out in a parking lot listen to some music , but it’s getting old now.

I need new hobbies to do when I’m trying to escape home. I can not be in the same room as my toxic parents because they are constantly reminding me how they are ashamed of me and how I’m not good enough for anything.

I hate my situation.
