After a conversation yesterday about different reasons ppl lose weight, what was your reason besides health? What was the thing that made you say enough is enough? Was it a pair of jeans? A breakup? A crush? An upcoming wedding?
Mine is travel. I've always loved traveling. Right before covid hit I spent a few weeks in Germany and loved it. However that was the last international trip I took (partially because of covid) and I remember being painfully aware of my weight, my limitations, and my discomfort. The plane seat was so uncomfortable, I was out of breath running through the connecting airport in Paris, I couldn't walk all over the way I had done in travels past, the tiny little chair at the cafe in my hotel looked questionable at best, I couldn't buy any clothes there because absolutely nothing was made in my size....
I had fun and can't wait to go back, but that was really one of the final straws for me. Health benefits are great of course, but I can't wait to travel like a normal sized person!
