Anyone else feel like they were ripped off because of all their parents' "service to God"?
Post Body

I'm positive y'all can relate...

When I was a kid, my parents were always "serving". Geeting people at the door Sunday morning, serving communion, collecting offering, playing on the worship team, helping with the women's ministry, teaching the kids ministry, running Bible studies and home groups, cooking/baking for this event or that, decorating/setup/cleanup for every God damn event imaginable. The list goes on.

All of this was time taken away from myself and my siblings, but it didn't matter. The priority was always clear... serve the Kingdom of God.

So f*cking toxic and cringey af.
