I’m writing a book and one of my main characters was raised as a evangelical Christian

She’s 16 in the story and has been in a hardcore Christian foster home since she was 10. She’s starting to question her beliefs but does not want to lose the family/community she’s found. I’m looking for sources about that kind of upbringing/background. Any ideas? Thanks!
