I feel like I missed out on a lot of learning because so much of my mental energy was focused on learning about the Bible and theology until I deconverted 3 years ago (at 35). I have always thought of myself as an intelligent person, but now that I've let go of so much that I thought I knew about the world, I feel like I'm really lacking knowledge of other perspectives.
I'm agnostic, bisexual, poly, and interested in feminism, philosophy, Buddhism, sociology, political science, economics, history, and psychology. I do have a bachelor's degree, but since I went to a Christian college, and used most of my elective credits on biblical studies and theology, I feel like I didn't learn as much as I wish I had.
Can y'all recommend books, podcasts, and documentaries that would be good for building a broad knowledge base? Especially anything that's particularly accessible, as I really don't have that much time and mental energy as a working single mom.
