Sure, I had passions as a Christian, but they were always tempered with the possibility of God throwing all of my ambitions out of the window in an instant if he called me to do something else with my life. Now that I'm out, I feel like I have permission to have real passions.
My passion is helping the public become better thinkers who love learning. I love educating, and I love seeing people grow. I also love being creative. I want to combine my passions and do graduate study in philosophy, then go on to write material for children to inspire them to explore the world around them and to think for themselves. I'd love to do a philosophy for kids book series or something similar.
Please, tell me your passions! What gets you going? Have your passions changed or evolved since leaving Christianity? I'd love to hear what makes my fellow exes tick.
