No we really don't, Karen. I have to tolerate them. Just like how I have to tolerate the annoying guy in my college class who always brags about how awesome he is. I have no respect for a belief system that is to this day responsible for executing gay people in Africa, raising girls telling them that they have to submit to their husbands and be breeders, and a whole lot of other messed up things. I will tolerate your beliefs, but that doesn't mean I respect them.
