Post Body

Having once been a Christian, I recognized the telltale signs: eyes closed, handholding, bowed heads. If I wasn't born in the Christian culture, I would've been concerned. We don't have desks but "stations" and the two were holding a prayer session to the right of my station. I spilled my Coke and had to dip out for some napkins, so when I came back, it was over. This isn't the first time stuff like this has happened. One time, I was coming in and a woman was on the phone proclaiming "God is good" and making sounds of exultation with someone. And Christians wanna claim they're persecuted when everyone politely tolerates them when they perform their religion in public.

And I can't even share what my religion is in public without being stared at and shamed.
