My older brother believes that Neanderthal’s didn’t exist since Adam and Eve are the first humans.
Post Body

My brother and I got into a mini debate today about the existence of Neanderthal’s. I’ve been raised Pentecostal since I was a kid and we were always taught Adam and Eve were the first humans. But since I’m planning on leaving, I don’t have the belief anymore that they were the first humans.

If the Earth is really 6,000 years old and Neanderthals don’t exist, that would mean all the fossils and research scientists have gathered would all be for nothing. Another point that debunks Adam and Eve, is Chimps have also been observed to be in the Stone Age like we once were (the making of tools). So I think it’s highly unlikely that Adam and Eve are the first humans.

However, I’m still unsure about the existence of evolution mainly because I haven’t studied the concept in depth and evidence since I was always taught growing up that the idea of evolution is a myth. Once I fully leave I’ll start reading up on those ideas since I’m more focused on getting a source of income to move out.
