I'm trying to create an expiration date tracker through excel for our product out on store shelves. I want the cell background to remain white if the product doesn't expire or expires over 12 months out; green for 12->3 months. Yellow at 3 months; orange at 2, red at 1 and dark gray at expiration.

I have the template set up with 6 rows of shelves, with one row between for the actual date the item would expire and up to 8 items per shelf (max we would have) is the a way to make an =if statement that will change the background colors to my desired shades at those times and is there a way to do it per column under the shelf? I may not be getting my point across and I apologize if I'm not clear. I will also include a picture of my template for reference
