Excel table stops calculating for no reason.

Ran into a weird error. Formulas stopped working inside a table. They just show up as text. If I go outside the table on the same sheet, formulas work fine. Manual calc is NOT on. I have no macros at all. If I "Clear All" inside the table, formulas start to work again only for those cells/columns/rows I cleared. (I tried all the other "Clear" options, but only "Clear All" fixed the error). What gives?

I worked around it, but I'm scratching my head. What format/setting/unholy curse did that?

Edit: I also changed the format of the cells (General, Number, etc.) to see if it would do anything. Nope.
