Padded numbers are very useful to me. Padded numbers like 010, 007, 000286, etc. I want a formula to create a series of labels like "Document 002" or "Exhibit 0101." But the formula/method I'm using loses the padding. I'm combining a text cell with a number cell. I keep getting "Example5" instead of "Example00005". Got to be an easy way to do this, no?
What I'm doing:
A Column: (whatever label) "Document_"
B Column: (padding the zeroes through the custom number option) "000001"
C Column: "=concat(A1,B1)". But this gives me "Document_1" not "Document_000001"
What do? Thanks in advance!
