When in an IF statement and you need multiple conditions what's the different between using OR vs AND to require both conditions?

Post Body

I"m watching a Skillsoft training video and she did it this way to require 2 conditions.

=IF(OR(B2>2000)*AND(C2="Yes"),"Discount","Nope")

But I would think this would be more correct??

=IF(AND(B2>2000)*AND(C2="Yes"),"Discount","Nope")

Is there any functional difference between the two ways of doing it or am I nitpicking? Would doing it one way or the other run into issues if I were to further extend the conditions? Am I crazy or is this just one of those potato potata, whos code is more readable questions?
