Post Body

Hi all I apologies if this is in the wrong sub. I have an excel file I use at work for data record keeping. My boss saw it and was impressed, and whatโ€™s the team to use it aswell.

Iโ€™m using the latest version of office.

I use legacy sharing on the file.

So multiple people can access it at the same time.

The issue is it freezes and BECOMES non-responsive for a bit and THEN lags a little.

Question 1: Is it due to conditional formatting and vlookups?

And is there a way to improve this?

Question 2 would it be better to use an access database to share with others.
