[VBA] Highlight cell from a custom function

I'm creating a custom function and I would like to highlight the cells if a certain condition is met. I've tried to following code

If condition Then
    Range(Application.Caller.Address).Interior.ColorIndex = 6
End If

but it only causes my function to end prematurely. I've searched around this is basically straight from MSDN.
