Morning Guys,

So as far as I can tell this is a pretty complex problem... at least for someone with my limited knowledge of visual basic.

I am trying to build a macro to create a counter of sorts. I feel an example would be best. so I shall try.

I start with something along these lines in cell A1:

2AEE28000355F3417407K3417407001C01

What I need to achieve is a macro that will fill up a counter but it's two fold.

2AEE28000355F3417407K3417407001C01 2AEE28000355F3417407K3417407001C02 2AEE28000355F3417407K3417407001C03 2AEE28000355F3417407K3417407001C04 2AEE28000355F3417407K3417407002C01 2AEE28000355F3417407K3417407002C02 2AEE28000355F3417407K3417407002C03 2AEE28000355F3417407K3417407002C04

I was hoping that the counter would be a variable as I want to be able to specify the number of "C" I have. i.e. it's not always 4 i need sometimes, 12, or 24.

So use column A for instance to generate my counter and input my number for C into a cell in column C.

The number of labels to create should also be something definable now that I think about it. I sometimes need to create up to 2000 of these at any one time.

I work in electronics and these are serial ranges for circuit boards

I hope this makes sense, working a night shift but this is bugging me.

Any help you could offer, or clarification you require I'd be more than happy.

Thanks
