Hopefully I can explain this clearly.
I have a worksheet with a column "Document", which contains the name of a document. For each document, there are multiple rows with information regarding different sections of the document (e.g. enrollment requirements, monitoring requirements, reporting requirements, etc.).
I have been manually color-coding these using cell background colors (just randomly picking a color, and it doesn't even matter if the color is used more than once so long as there aren't adjacent rows of different "documents" using the same color) so that it's easy to identify which rows relate to which "document". Is there a way to automate this using conditional formatting based on the value in the "Document" field without having to manually input the different values used in the "Document" field?
Please let me know if i need to clarify how the worksheet is set up, or what my goals are.
