VBA If statement not running input formula

The below code is not running the formula. Erroring as “Application defined or object defined error”.

If Range(“L2”) = “Asset-Backed” Then Range(“AL2”).FormulaR1C1 = “=IFERROR(COUPNCD(TODAY(), RC[-2], 12, 1), “Matured”)

Not sure why it won’t work. Any help?
