Since the first time I worked with power query 2-3 years ago it doesn't accept relative references for folders where you get your data from. If my report is stored in C:\report and my data is stored in C:\report\data I have to explicitly indicate c:\report\data as my data folder and if I move all my work into a new folder C:\2023 I have to explicitly modify all my power queries to look up into the new folder. I looked up for a solution and the only thing I get is it was a Microsoft politics somehow and since then I didn't check it again, but it is a really big issue.
Has this been solved in newer versions? Will it be in the future? Has anyone find a way to overcome this problem?
