Look at how the vatican twists things around about abortion. They cite prominent sources about other topics to appear legitimate and try to deflect the focus from abortion to those other topics. Yeah gun control is important. But how about lack of gun control AND that scotus got rid of Roe v Wade are both problems. I think they’re trying to play into the typical catholic guilt and make people feel badly about these other issues to forget about the control the government has over peoples bodies now. (Plus the vatican neglected to have a response to many other terrible consequences of the scotus ruling including —the privacy concern, or the fact that abortion saves lives, women’s lives). Fuck the catholic church
