Recently, a $2M tabernacle was stolen from a New York church. This post is not to advocate anything illegal-I want to post it to point out how crazy it is the church has pieces worth this much but yet they preach about helping the poor. I didn’t realize how much that stuff was worth

The Catholic Church is so hypocritical, they preach giving to the poor but yet they have things worth $2m. Maybe they should sell stuff like that to a museum and use the money to help people. Not sure how selling to a museum works or anything like that, but shit, talk about not practicing what they preach
