I attended the Pasalamat with my fam kanina. And tbh, it was one of the few times that I’ve attentively listened sa sermon/aral. Yung ministro sabi ba naman is magpasalamat ka padin sa Diyos kapag ka ng leksyon, ng paghihirap para mas tumatatag ang paniniwala natin sa Diyos.

This threw me off but di ko muna masyado pinansin.

Nung prayer na, he goes at it again, this time he added. “Kahit nagkasakit kami o ang mga mahal namin sa buhay, namatay ang mga mahal namin sa buhay at kinuha mo na sila samin, nagpapasalamat padin kami sayo. At nagpapasalamat kami na namatay sila bilang Iglesia Ni Cristo.”

I literally opened my eyes and almost gasped sa kalagitnaan ng prayer. I WILL NOT SAY AMEN AND PRAY to this. Napakainsensitive. Like wtf.

My mom just died because of cancer two months ago then ganito maririnig ko???
