I got an autism dx last year. Ever since then, people have been judging everything I do and say on whether it's autistic or not. If it's autistic (in their eyes) such as my hygiene struggles due to trauma, my struggle to socialize and trust people, etc. it's seen as valid. If it's 'too NT' like my struggles with honesty, my playing mindgames, and being a social butterfly, then it's seen as me 'pretending to be those things'.
There's many other examples, but it annoys me. I'm more than just my autism: stop looking only at that and shoving me into the autism only box. People can be more than just one thing, you know! And don't even get me started on how everyone talks to you like you're 5 once they find out.
