What is with multinoxing in this game?
Post Body
It sounds like standard operating procedure from this subreddit. Why is everyone wanting to turn a 25 year old game into a job? What am I missing?

because in everquest there is no division of solo and group content all content is just open and free. these are the roots of everquest and why it has remained so popular against the test of time.

yes i agree boxing isn't the answer
and it's not that popular anymore. but it has stood the test of time which and until the servers close I consider it a monument in the gaming community.
the easiest fix in history has been creating instanced zones which goes against everquest's fundamentals.
the way to meet in the middle i've seen is that a new instance of a zone will not become open until the previous is over a certain number of players.
if you look into p99 they have a strict no boxing policy force you to go through a verification process if you wish to have multiple computers (siblings or friends) playing at the same time.
some would argue p99 is the best representation of the ideal everquest.
