I’m a guy who is tired of being fat. I need to lose about 80 lbs. I have used weight watchers before and found that it helps to start losing the weight and for me the meetings were a huge help with accountability. In 2020 WW stopped their meetings in Everett, so I lost my momentum. I’m looking for a group of maybe 10-12 people who would like to meet once a week to help each other get to a weight that is healthy for them. You don’t have to do weight watchers, just whatever works for you. I just want to be a part of a group that supports each other on this journey of getting healthy. We could probably rent a small space at a church or use a conference room at the library. But I’d like to meet every week at the same time to build some consistency. This would NOT be a weight watchers or Overeaters Anonymous meeting. It would be a place to share food tips, share your struggles, celebrate your weight loss, and plan exercises together like walks and hikes. If this sounds good to anyone, please DM or reply in the post. Thanks Everett!
