how do i edit rom info/rom settings? (gba mini)

hi everyone! i just received my everdrive gba mini and i'm trying to adjust the rom settings for pokemon crystal so that it uses RTC, but i can't get the settings to stick.

when i edit the rom settings to turn RTC: ON it doesn't actually save. if i close and reopen the menu it defaults to RTC: OFF.

is it possible to adjust the rom info or rom settings on my pc? i see pokemon crystal in the romcfg folder, but i'm not sure if i'm able to edit it in anyway.

i'm using jagoomba for my gb/gbc emulator.GBAOS is v1.16

any help would be appreciated! thanks!!
