Taking a job in Sales for EV Charging

Good morning yall,
I was just offered a position as a sales rep for a large EV Charging distribution company. I am curious what everyones thoughts are on getting into this market while the economy is tanking, and these things cost a lot of money so I am unsure if businesses are going to want to make that step while revenue is lower. I have my doubts but I want to see what yalls opinions are.
