My guess is if she hasn’t been found after 2 years they’re looking to file charges. Whoever did this to this young lady best be laying low for a very long time.

So he’s the last known person she was seen with but because he’s tied up in a long case, they may never be able to convict him of her disappearance because he will be undergoing other charges. Unless someone comes forward with details or evidence links him to her disappearance (which the FBI is testing) her family may never know who’s to blame. Sad story.

I’m sure the police are doing what they can with the resources they have prioritizing what is currently going on. I’m sorry that I can’t make you feel better.
