Meh, this won’t be that bad. We will sit in traffic for 10 mins tops. Places like Houston and Chicago can add 20 mins to your commute because of lane closures with no one working. I hear LA can take 2 hours to get 20 miles.
I’ll give you my upvote…I feel like the mayor could increase Centerpoints taxes and rebate the customers. Another way, they could influence, build a Cogen plant and offer customers a second option for utilities. When I lived in SE CT, we got our cable, and utilities from the city. I believe there are ways that’s all I’m saying.
Hence why traffic shouldn’t be an issue because it won’t take more than 10 mins to navigate stop light to stop light
I guess if we can’t figure out how to drive then as the population grows traffic will suck more. Not really my problem since where I come from are two seasons, winter and construction. I’ll never understand why people in Evansville, Newburgh, etc don’t want to upgrade. By the way the Mayor can influence the rates of utilities. 😉
Part of the reason they’re working on the Lloyd is to provide jobs the Lloyd will ensure people have jobs for the next few years. Just like they won’t stop building housing in this area.

J turns work well in Houston. This generation just doesn’t know how to drive. People complain all the time about round about and they’re great, keeps traffic going and if you’re careful they’re very beneficial.
