So, how do I explain this... I'm looking for an Anime, specifically one that attunes to the Vaporwave/Future Funk Aesthetic. I imagine something reminiscent of this:

No, I'm not (necessarily) looking for the anime from the picture.
Yes, I know this is a song.
However, would you not say that it holds a certain feeling about it? A retrospective, melancholy sort of feeling- of something I can feel but have never experienced ?
For instance, the story would not just be set in Tokyo, but take special care to show the golden gleam of sunset as it sets over a coastal beach. Something saturated with the Vaporwave/ Future Funk "vibe," if you will. It's not necessarily sad, just not totally happy either.
Imagine yourself twenty years from now, looking back on your youth and remembering a particular moment, a time at the beach, for instance, where you felt like... the whole world was just perfect. That kind of feeling. Here is another song that encapsulates the general feeling:

I guess Evangelion had something close to what I was looking for, Perhaps consider that as another possible reference ?
genre can be whatever, so long as it does not impede the aesthetic. So, medieval fantasy is a no-go. Because it does not have that kind of aesthetic.
I guess It would be set anywhere between 1975 and 2005, though I don't particularly care when the anime itself was made.
Any ideas ?
