As an Asian who wakes up at 3 AM every year (since 2010, been following since 2008) just to watch Eurovision every year, this year's experience was by far the weirdest (and funniest) one for me because /alcohol/.

And by that, I mean drinking enough alcohol to get me plastered by the time the 12 votes came in at ~6 AM in my time. Then I slept on the kitchen floor, beside the table, while my laptop played on. One of my roommates woke me up at 9 AM and the first thing I said was "HOLY HIKES WHO WON EUROVISION?" Of course he didn't answer because the heathen doesn't follow Eurovision.

After that, I ran to the bathroom, sat in front of the bathroom for a whole hour puking my guts out, and that's where my two other roommates found me. I spent the whole day sleeping my hangover off, or waking up and running to the bathroom to vomit.

Needless to say, there won't be any alcohol in the house in the next Eurovision. Also, CONGRATS UKRAINE! I bet a whole month of cleaning duties on her and even though I had a crazy Grand Finals experience, it's still worth the 1 month of freedom from cleaning.
